New classes for a new year
Yoga classes designed just for children! All classes explore simple yoga poses, improve balance and flexibility, enhance creativity and promote self expression. Classes are designed to be active but also use breathing and relaxation techniques. A positive environment cultivating compassion, respect and mindfulness. All child care classes are theme based and are 30 minutes long. Children are grouped by age, if possible. We would be glad to design classes around a particular curriculum or theme if desired. The convenience of daytime classes allows for more family time in the evening. We travel to the kids so there is never a need for transportation. Peaceful Poses Kids Yoga is always on the go and ready to visit your child care center or preschool. We also zoom classes to child care centers and preschools.

Peaceful Poses Kids Yoga is available to help compliment your SEL curriculum. We can visit your grade, middle or high school for assemblies, test prep, after school programs, guidance counselor classes or gym classes.
We can design classes and/ or workshops for confidence, mindfulness, respect, tolerance, how to manage stress and peer pressure. Classes include yoga poses (asanas), breathing practices and relaxation techniques. The emphasis on being healthy and taking care of ourselves in a non-competitive and positive atmosphere. If there are additional requests or other ideas, please contact us and we can work together!
If you have a venue, we have a mat! Please contact us if you are interested in kids yoga classes. Some ideas for privates groups would be Girl Scouts, Boy Scouts, Homeschoolers, youth athletic programs, martial art schools, and clubs and organizations. We can design yoga classes to your specific needs. If you have a group but no place for a class, please contact us. We may have some ideas!
lluminate is an integrated mind-body wellness program designed for teens and tweens to build self-confidence, self-compassion and healthy coping skills for stress and anxiety while promoting positive social interaction in a therapeutic group setting. Sessions are led by Daina Thompson, MSW LCSW (Licensed Clinical Social Work/Psychotherapist) and Ann Fields RYT-200 (Registered Yoga Teacher), RCYT (Registered Chidlren's Yoga Teacher). Classes will incorporate Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) Skills, supportive group discussion, yoga, mindfulness and meditation. Empowering teens with skills and tools to help their inner lights shine brighter .... to illuminate.

Peaceful Poses Kids Yoga offers professional development workshops. Subjects include Mindfulness for Teachers, Self Care for Teachers, Yoga & Mindfulness for Preschoolers, Mindful Movement, brain breaks and desk rests for K-12. Also, Yoga & Mindfulness for Schools.
